Why is Art Education So Important

The Art Fund Association is committed to giving back to the community by supporting creative outlets for children living around the globe. Children’s art programs create a positive, pressure-free environment where children are encouraged to express their ideas and inner vision through art. By giving children an outlet to stimulate creativity, curiosity and artistic sensitivities, children are empowered to express themselves, build their self esteem and develop a sense of self-importance and individuality, all of which are important steps in building a foundation for a more positive future.

Specifically, children who actively participate in art programs have a greater likelihood of being recognized for their academic achievements, generally have higher attendance, participate to greater degrees in math and science competitions and perform greater amounts of community service than children without art education initiatives.

We hope that you will join us in supporting this noble cause. Please e-mail us at helpout@artfundassociation.com for more information.
